Exodia Beachwear brought together the couple Hemerson Marinho , a 34-year-old hairdresser, and Renan Lima https://www.instagram.com/nanlimarj/, a 39-year-old HR manager, both from Rio de Janeiro, to star in the campaign for their new collection. Photographed by photographer and businessman Gus Dantas , the two showed that the harmony of their relationship is also reflected in front of the cameras, in a shoot full of sensuality and complicity.
The invitation came spontaneously. After being invited by Gus Dantas to participate in the campaign, Hemerson insisted on inviting his boyfriend to share the experience. As he recounts, “Gus asked me to do the photos and I asked my boyfriend to do them with me. He agreed.” Renan also approved of the idea and sums up the experience enthusiastically: “The shoot was great, I really enjoyed it.”
Even though it was Renan's first beachwear photoshoot, the chemistry between the couple prevailed over any shyness. Hemerson points out that "It was Renan's first time being photographed, but our connection was really cool ," while Renan reveals that he felt completely at ease. "No shame. Most of my photos are on the beach. I like that vibe."
The result was a photoshoot full of sensuality, but trust always prevails in the relationship. "There's no jealousy, because we respect each other, and trust is the foundation of everything ," says Hemerson. Renan adds that they live "always in partnership, supporting each other, everything is fun and light."
Behind the scenes, the relaxed atmosphere yielded some great stories. While Hemerson recalls the fun costume swaps during production, Renan laughs as he remembers: "When we decided to do a 'making of' video of each other and I ruined everything." (laughs)
When it comes to the ideal date night, they both agree that the most important thing is being together. Hemerson prefers "A trip with lots of dancing ," while Renan believes that "Anything goes, the important thing is the company."
After their experience with Exodia Beachwear, the two assure that they would be willing to repeat the partnership. Hemerson states that "I don't have a dream theme, but I dream of doing it with him ," while Renan imagines a photoshoot "In a more romantic place, with a beautiful view, in a chalet."
